A focus on continual professional development for employees is fundamental for business success. Here at Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa, we are committed to developing and investing in our teams and encourage individuals to further their knowledge within their own roles enabling a more efficient and confident leadership which serves to better the communication and relationships amongst their teams.
A group of managers from across the hotel and spa have recently completed their ILM Level 3 Leadership and Management Course which has enabled them to enhance their skills on leading, organising and motivating their teams. The seven staff come from a range of roles throughout the business, strengthening all aspects of the hotel and spa, and include Lee Cooper (Executive Head Chef), Katie Lake (Spa Manager), Hector Galindo-Perez (Restaurant & Bar Manager), Beth McGowan (Financial Controller), Carla Belmonte (Assistant Spa Manager) Helena Howsam (Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager) and Emily Carlton (Assistant Conference & Events Manager).
On the fantastic achievement, Chief Executive Noel Byrne comments: “We are extremely proud of each and every manager for their well-deserved achievement in this qualification and taking their careers to the next level. Their commitment to advancing their leadership skills has not only been a benefit to their personal growth and career paths, but we’ve also seen the positive benefits it’s bringing to the business and above all, our customers.”
