Afternoon Tea is a British institution and there’s no better way to celebrate the new King than by tucking into some mouth wateringly good finger sandwiches, baked savouries, and warm homemade scones. Carefully curated with His Majesty himself in mind, the celebratory Afternoon Tea is inspired by the reigning monarch and his favourite foods, with nods to the traditional English, Irish and Welsh offerings along the way. All to be enjoyed while overlooking the perfectly manicured gardens and sunny Roxana Terrace at Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa.

For the family celebration: King’s Coronation Sunday Lunch
For those looking to go a little more boujie with their celebrations, you can book in for the King’s Coronation Sunday Lunch Menu at our award-winning Squires Restaurant! A banquet fit for a King, the 3-course bespoke menu, created by Chef Lee Cooper, uses the finest of locally sourced ingredients to deliver some of the King’s all-time favourite dishes. Highlights include a traditional smoked mackerel pate with a jersey royal potato salad, roast sirloin of beef with potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and red wine jus, and of course, some delectable ‘Mrs Temples’ Binham Blue Cheese with poached rhubarb and sourdough crisps.
